Cracker Barrel

I wasn't to sure about ordering food sight unseen, worry about how it was going to look or taste after you have paid. But surprisingly, this Cracker Barrel put my fear a little at ease. I missed the 1st delivery due to the driver was impatient, but the restaurant had my meal re-delivered with no question ask. Thumbs up 👍

I love this place, it's very welcoming and the food is very filling. Definitely try their pecan pies! My favorite dish is Grandpa's country fried breakfast. Sometimes there is a long wait but it's definitely worth it.

This place has amazing service and tasty menu. One of the best spot in the area. The drinks and food served quickly and the prices are fair. Recommended.

I had dinner tonight with one of my grandsons at Cracker Barrel in Mesquite, TX. It was so nice to actually "dine-in" at one of my all-time favorite restaurants! It was even more meaningful after enduring 2-months of lockdown due to the Wuhan COVID-19 pandemic! The food was excellent (as usual), and our waitress, Cameron, was superb! Very attentive, but no overly so. It was very relaxed and relatively quiet due the limited seating...again due to the restrictions brought upon us by the Wuhan COVID-19 pandemic. It was a welcome respite after another 12-hour workday. Treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience and scrumption homestyle cooking. I can't wait to do it again...after I recover from overeating!

The waitress we had was the sweetest, friendly girl you could ever wish for!!The food was awesome as it always is!! My sweetheart and I love to go to Cracker Barrel!! Rate it a 10.

I have tried to give this place a chance. Prior experiences were bad. Bad, rude and slow service. Today we were seated for 10 min before we had to get up ourselves and ask for a waitress. We didn't end up getting our drinks until well over 20 min after seating. on top of the slow service today, they served me ham that was literally burnt & over cooked. They brought me A new one and you can clearly see the difference. They should be ashamed!!! I tried to give them a chance but after today I will no longer be visiting this location until they get better managers, servers AND cooks. I love cracker barrel and this has been the only location I have had a continuous bad experience.

Kimberly, Thank you. This is the first Christmas for my husband's recently widowed mom. It dawned on me that my own cooking skills might not make her feel special. I appreciate how, 30 minutes before close on Christmas Eve, you set me up with everything I would need and more to have a splendid Christmas meal that would say, "we're here for you, we love you, and you are special." The Cracker Barrell meal you sent me home with communicates everything I was trying to say. Plus we found some cool presents we knew she'd like in the gift shop. Really good breakfasts with options for smaller lighter plates as long as truly indulgent options. Lovely staff as well as interesting shopping experience. All in all of you're looking for a great breakfasts anytime it's a great spot

Such a busy place and way overcrowded. Love the general store at the front but not enough room to get around. Ordered the grilled chicken salad with soup from the lunch menu on a Friday. Received a salad with ham and bacon (#gross) and a canned vegetable soup, it was very disappointing. The service was just ok. My grandmother loves going to the place but I don't think it's worth it.

Maria the waitress was awesome. The reason for the 1 star is for not honoring vets with a discount. Vets die everyday for our freedom. They no longer have stake fries. They now have Mcdonald fries, so sad. The biscuits have Improved. But why does the waitstaff cringe when you ask to bring them before the meal?..

Always a good eat, I usually only come here for breakfast. The service here is always suburb, and food is brought out quickly. One thing that sucks is that they are always busy, wait times can be fairly long especially on the weekends. Over all I will come back again - Wheezy

It took two calls and 55min to get a to-go order. There's always something wrong. The excuses always sound like b.s. "our tablets won't communicate with the kitchen". Foh management is nonexistent here. It's a crapshoot whether or not you'll be taken care of.

This place rocks, I have used them twice for office catering, and they delivered flawlessly, Both times have gotten help from manager to ensure timing and orders were correct. Kelly the Manager on duty today was great and tremendously helpful and on point.

The best breakfast! The lady at the counter had an attitude and there was some guy cussing up a waitress next to me, but the food was glorious! Lol I do recommend the food but good luck with the hungry Saturday morning folks.

Really like this place. Big portions for decent price. Just wish wait times were shorter. They do accommodate big parties but waits for a table can be upwards of an hour.

Don't think the food is that special especially for all the hype and the price. I did no like the wait for over a half an hour for a table in a super crowded overly priced trinket shop part either.Still, I rate 3 stars for the understandably frustrated staff who are good folks trying to do the best with what they have.

Really loved this place with a wide variety of delicious meals to choose from. Fast service from the staff who go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Very clean place! Will definitely come back here.

Atmosphere is the best I've experienced in a long time! The moral has definitely improved!! Outstanding service and extremely timely. Food was still amazing!!

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast and it was very pleasant, not to busy at the time which made it more enjoyable. The food was totally awesome. The staff was pleasant and very attentive, which was a + for us. Even more special I was able to do a little shopping. Found some lovely candles, at a good buy I might add as well. We'll be back. Excellent service and incredibly delicious food! I was so very full but my food was so yummy I just couldn't stop eating it until it was gone! The portions were large and could of been made into 2 meals, but were just to delicious to stop! Was a tad miserable for a little while afterwards, but that is all on me. I will certainly return and highly recommend trying this place if you have never been.

We been coming to this place for years, GREAT pancakes, but maybe they have a new cook because I ordered mamas pancakes, and we got 2 little kids (half normal size) pancakes and one normal size. Maybe the cook needs a little more training or a measuring cup?Still a great place to eat at (well lately, to order from)

Third pick-up meal in 5 weeks of pandemic and am underwhelmedat food taken out.Undercooked and only 2 pieces, not 3, of bacon, tiny eggs, and then today, bland looking chicken & dumplings in a white liquid. Beans, corn, and green beans okay.

This is a great restaurant to bring the entire family. Love the souvenir shop! You can find cute things from apparel to candy. Staff is friendly....

The service was great, the only downside was the long wait but for a Sunday brunch time it's expected. The waitress was on point with the drink refills and constant check ins to see if we needed anything. Kids had fun and the food was beyond my expectations. The hashbrown casserole was so good it almost made me want to slap my mama but she was no where to be found. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious, as if I was tasting a piece of heaven. They had the chimney fire going which made everything worth while, felt cozy as if I was right at home. Thanks Cracker Barrel for this wonderful experience.

Ohhhh went last week for breakfast. Junior the waiter was so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and delicious.

Wait staff is always well trained and the food is always consistently excellent! Good portions. Would love to have one closer to my home!

The food here is what you would expect from a chain restaurant. The quality of the food is not bad, but nothing to write home about either. If you want a decent quality meal for good value, this place would suffice. There are scores of higher quality southern kitchen out there in the Metroplex, but you would be hard pressed to beat the value of Cracker Barrel.

I was disappointed. The shrimp was overdone and the hush puppies were burnt. It took forever to get the replacement hush puppies. They were coming out as I was going to ask for a to go box. When we mentioned it to the manager he did give us a discount and that was great. But his attitude was just not professional. He should work on how he talks to customers. It goes back to "it's not what you say it's how you say it"!
